A public hearing on preliminary special assessments for an upcoming street project in the City of Prescott was tabled by the Prescott City Council at its meeting Monday evening.
The hearing was to deal with a street project of curb and gutter, driveway aprons and sewer laterals for Henry, Hampshire and James streets. A citizen objection asked for recusal of three of the council members from the hearing. The hearing was tabled until the city can consult with its attorneys on the matter.
The board unanimously approved its pay request and granted a pair of beer and wine licenses to the owner's of the Prescott Roadhouse, a new restaurant being built in the former dentist office on Broad St.
