Prescott City Council approves contract with MSA

The Prescott City Council unanimously approved a contract at its meeting Monday evening with MSA Professional Services of Rice Lake to conduct a review of potential wastewater outflow from the planned new Diversified Manufacturing Company (DMC) plant, which is to be located on the eastern edge of the city near UNFI building.

All members of the council and Mayor Dave Hovel were present.  Alderperson Galen Seipel was absent.

The motion made by Alderpersons and Josh Gergen and Maureen Otwell was for the contract with MSA not to exceed $3,000. These services will review wastewater content and outflow along with construction plans to make sure it is within legal limits before the plant is built.
