The Prescott High School Boys' Basketball Team received its WIAA Division 3 Regional Tournament pairing yesterday.
The Cardinals, 18-3 overall, received the No. 1 seed in its sectional half-bracket for the Menomonie Sectional (the semi-final which will be played at River Falls on March 9). This gives Prescott a first-round bye for the regional tournament which begins next Tuesday, Feb. 28. PHS will host the winner of the No. 8 Barron vs. No. 9 seed Baldwin-Woodville contest on March 3. If Prescott wins they'll also host the regional final match-up March 4.
Other teams in the regional tournament are No. 4 seed Osceola and No. 5 seed St. Croix Central, also in the regional semis. The winner of this game would potentially play Prescott in the regional finals. The winner of the regional plays in the sectional semifinal March 9 in River Falls. The sectional final is March 11 in Menomonie.

PHS wraps-up its season tonight vs. St. Croix Central at home with the tip-off at 7:15 p.m. This is the final regular season home game for the Cards which will honor seniors Owen Hamilton, Nick Simon, Luke Murphy, Marcus Sterud, Bo Smith, Cameron Holte, Keaton Roeder and Jake Block.
