There will be three Veterans Day’s ceremonies at schools in Prescott on Friday, Nov. 11.
The first will be at St. Joseph’s Parish School at 281 Dakota St. beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the school gymnasium. The assembly will include a flag color guard, a short patriotic program, a musical tribute to all current and past veterans, and a time for each attending veteran to introduce themselves to the student body. Those Veterans in attendance will honored guests for lunch after the program. All are welcome to join us for lunch after the program. Veterans eat for free, and adult guest lunch is $3.70. The next ceremony will be at Malone Intermediate School at 1220 St. Croix St. in Prescott in the school gymnasium starting at 1 p.m. Prescott High School teacher and veteran Rob Glazebrook will be the guest speaker.
Finally there will be a Veteran’s Day Ceremony in the Prescott Community Auditorium at the new Prescott High School at 1010 Dexter St. starting at 2:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Air Force veteran Eric Fisher. There will be a social afterward in the high school commons.
