Prescott grdders blanked again, 40-0 by Osceola

OSCEOLA - It's been 10 quarters now since the Prescott High School football team has scored a touchdown as the Cardinals were blanked for the second contest in a row, 40-0 to Osceola Friday evening.

The unbeaten Chieftains, the defending Division 4 state champions and ranked No. 1 in the state again, led 34-0 at halftime. PHS has not had touchdown since the second quarter of their game vs. Somerset a few weeks ago.

The Cardinals will have the best chance to gain their first win of the season next Friday as they play at Baldwin-Woodville. The Blackhawks, 2-5 overall and 1-4 in the Middle Border Conference, were bounced by Ellsworth 35-15 Friday.
