Broad St. sidewalk work begins after Prescott Daze

Sidewalk work on Broad St. will begin after Prescott Daze festivities next weekend.

According to a City of Prescott email, work on fixing up the sidewalks on Prescott's main road through its downtown area will begin Sept. 12. The sidewalk areas will be broken up into sections and each will take up to a week to work on.

The first section to be receive construction work will the block right next to the Highway 10 bridge. The final section to be completed will be the one closest to Kinnickinnic St.

The project is expected to be completed by Oct. 7. Customers and employees and residents of Broad St. will still have access to businesses and apartments through the sidewalk work. City officials are planning to meet with business persons and residents of Broad St. on Sept. 9 at Most Pharmacy at 10 a.m.
