DIAMOND BLUFF - The Diamond Bluff Township Board voted in favor of fixings several town roads and establishing a line of credit to pay for the fixes at their month meeting Thursday evening.
The unanimously passed motions will begin fixing 945th, 290th, 970th, 340th and 300th roads while establishing a $70,000 line of credit from Hiawatha National Bank at n interest rate of 2.25%. The money will go with funds already designated for road repair in the town budget, some $90,000.
Along with the passed motions, the board also gave its support to a statewide resolution asking Gov. Walker and the state legislature to fully fund repairs to Wisconsin's roads.
