Local company’s product used on TV home construction show

CLIFTON – Kevin Peterson is “on” TV without actually appearing in person on a broadcast.
A product credited to Peterson’s CDM (Construction Debris Management) Company on 740th Ave. in Clifton Township is viewed prominently on the TV show “Home Free”, which can be seen on the Fox Network at 8 p.m. on Thursdays (it’s in its second season) and is co-hosted by Tim Tebow and Mike Homes.

The reality show consists of teams of couples who work with a local home builder in Atlanta help to renovate homes and are judged on their work as they compete for the grand prize of a brand new dream home. Those construction/renovation sites all have CDM’s EcoSnakes surrounding them to control soil erosion and prevent sediment build-up.

“I was very excited to see them on TV,” Peterson said. “I’ve worked with Wayne Seabolt who is a landscaper in Roopeville, Georgia with Natural Growth Inc.  I’ve worked closely with him and he’s used our product and it appears on the show. He delivered them to the media company producing the show and then he emailed me so I could see all the green-colored socks that appeared on television. You see a lot of shots of them in the backyard.”

Read more about this story in this week's print edition of the Prescott Journal, on newsstands and in town on Wednesday.
