Board member Joe Rohl said he was confident plans could be finalized and costs estimates drawn up within the next few months.
Board members Joe and John Rohl along with Town Chairman LeRoy Peterson and Town Clerk Judy Clement-Lee discussed possible floor plans for the building with the driveway leading into it. The plans are based on a town hall in a similar township in Minnesota (Ninninger) to Clifton that board members have visited and have pictures on.
Board members also came to a consensus this wish to have a referendum on building a new town hall put on the November ballot to get public approval.
