The regularly scheduled meeting of the Prescott City Council back on Monday was cancelled due to lack of a quorum.
Just three members of the six-member council were present when the meeting began at 6:30 p.m. along with Mayor David Hovel. Four members must be present for a meeting to take place.
There was some discussion about scheduling a meeting on June 6, tacking it onto a planning commission meeting. But there are no current plans for the council to meet before it's next regularly scheduled meeting on June 13.
Also not meeting this week was the Pierce County Board of Supervisors. They were to meet on Tuesday but the meeting was cancelled due to lack of agenda items.
