Cold, windy, wet and sometimes snowy weather has forced changes in the spring sports scheduled for Prescott High School teams.
The Cardinal baseball team's contest with Durand was postponed twice both Friday and Saturday. The game has been moved to April 23 at Firehall Field starting at 1 p.m.
Prescott's home Middle Border Conference boys' golf meet at Clifton Highlands last Friday was also postponed due to cold temperatures and snow. The meet has been moved May 13.
Reschedule dates for the Prescott softball team's first two games vs. Durand and Bloomer have been announced. The Cardinals are set to open their season Thursday at home vs. St. Croix Central.
Prescott's Baseball team hosts Minneapolis Southwest at 4:45 p.m. today at Firehall Field and is at Baldwin-Woodville Tuesday at 5 p.m. The Prescott boys' golf team is at Somerset Tuesday and the Cardinal track and field team competes in the Early-Bird Invitational at Eleva-Strum High School Tuesday starting at 4 p.m.
