Donald Trump, Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont and incumbent Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Bradley all had the most votes in the City of Prescott in Tuesday's spring election.

Over 1,000 persons voted in the city yesterday. The vote totals were as follows:

Vote count in for the City of Prescott: Trump 219, Ted Cruz 201, John Kasich 87. Sanders 273, Hilary Clinton 214. Bradley 433, Jo Ann Kloppenburg 393.

The city's totals matched those in the state of Wisconsin, as Sanders and Bradley both won statewide, except in the Republican Party race for President as Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas won the state by a 48% to 35% margin with Ohio Governor John Kasich coming in third with 14 percent of the vote. Trump however did win the Third Congressional District which Prescott is a part which entitles him to three convention delegates. Cruz won 33 delegates to Trump's six.

All local members of the Prescott City Council, Mayor David Hovel and the three members of the Prescott School Board were all re-elected without opposition.
