The No. 9 ranked boys' team routed New Richmond on the road 102-69. Mike Harris blitzed NR with a 31-point performance, the individual output of the season so far for the Cardinals. The Cards' buried 13 three-pointers in the contests.
Prescott improves to 11-2 overall and 8-0 in the MBC.
Meanwhile back in Prescott, the PHS girls team engaged in another close contest with Amery and again eked out a win, 38-36.
Ali Murphy led the Cardinals in scoring with 15 points and Heather Furlong finished with nine points. Murphy sank six critical free-throws late in the ballgame to allow Prescott to hold onto its lead.
The win puts PHS above .500 in the MBC at 5-4, 5-8 overall. Prescott's next contest is at home vs. Baldwin-Woodville Tuesday.
