HAMMOND - Trailing at halftime for the first time in a Middle Border Conference game all season, the No. 8 ranked Prescott High School boys' basketball team dominated the second half to beat St. Croix Central 64-46 Tuesday evening and win their 24th straight MBC contest.
The Panthers led 25-24 at halftime but were outscored 40-21 in the second half as Prescott's Keegan Nielsen pumped in a game-high 27 points. Mike Harris was also in double figures fore Prescott with 12 points and Peter Brookshaw had nine.
PHS is 10-2 overall and completes the first cycle in league play at 7-0. The Cardinals are at New Richmond on Friday.
