ELLSWORTH - Bridges in Pierce County will be in need of extensive repair and soon according to County Board of Supervisors member Bill Schroeder stated during Tuesday's evening's monthly county board meeting at the Pierce County Courthouse.
Schroeder (District No. 14 - Hager City), who is a member of the board's highway committee, said that the county highway department will be taking and inventory of the county and determine those in need of the most of repair during the public comment section of the meeting.
The board considered three resolutions for first reading, including a one to officially approve the amount of new jail project financing in the official statement to begin the selling of bonds and putting out bids for the project. The price tag was stated at $18 million.
