The Prescott City Council approved the third reading of an ordinance on detached structures from homes during its most recent meeting which took place on Monday.
The ordinance dealt primarily with the eight of such structures. After some discussion, the ordinance was amended to state that the allowable height for such structures would be 25 feet.
The ordinance passed by a 4-2 vote with Alderpersons Galen Seipel and Maureen Otwell both voting against. Voting in favor of the ordinance were Josh Gergen, Bill Dravis, Robert Daughtery and Jack Hoschette.
