Amery tied the game in the third quarter 14-14 but PHS broke the tie early in the fourth when running back Tristan Eicher scored on a 20-yard touchdown run. An interception by defensive back Keegan Nielsen stopped an Amery drive late in the game and Nielsen made a key fourth down catch to secure the victory for the Redbirds.
Prescott improves to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the Middle Border Conference and plays at Somerset next Friday. The defending state champions are winless so far in the season.
