NEW RICHMOND - The New Richmond High School football team scored on its first seven possessions of its ballgame vs. Prescott Friday evening in the first half and then called it a night as the Tigers won 49-7 to even their records at 3-3 overall and 2-2 in the Middle Border Conference.
A combination of big pass plays from NR quarterback Brady Maus to wide receiver Caleb Manecke and the running of the Altena brothers Sam and Auggie, broke the Cardinals' defense in the first half. The score was 49-0 at halftime and the Tigers didn't have their first punt unil second left to go in the second quarter.
PHS lone score of the ballgame was a 10-yard run by fullback Dillon Kimmen early in the third quarter with running clock. It was their first TD in six quarters.
The Cards drops to 2-2 in the league and 3-3 overall and Osecola squad next Friday for Homecoming at Laney Field in Prescott.
