A ceremony was held Friday morning at Prescott High School to dedicate and sign a steel support beam which will be placed in the new high school.
Speaking at the ceremony were Prescott Superintendent Dr. Richard Spicuzza, PHS Principal Dave Vortherms, Prescott School Board President Mark Helmer and PHS student Grace Carey.
The ceremony dedicated the beam on Sept. 11 - Patriot Day, in memory of the victims of 9-11.
Administrators, school board members, staff, members of the general public attending and PHS students signed the beam.
